Frequently Asked Questions

Label manufacturing, ordering and delivery.

Etiteks manufactures woven labels, printed care labels, hang tags, and embroidered or woven patches for apparel brands. Founded in Istanbul in 1983, we produce for fashion, denim, sportswear, and workwear brands across Europe and beyond, handling everything from design adaptation to bulk production in-house.

Our MOQ for custom woven labels is 50 pieces per design. This makes us a practical partner for capsule collections, sampling runs, and emerging brands that are not ready to commit to large volumes.

Standard production time is 7 to 14 days after artwork approval, with delivery to most European countries in 2 to 5 additional days. Thanks to Türkiye's Customs Union with the EU, shipments clear customs quickly with no import duties on textile trimmings for EU buyers.

Türkiye offers significantly shorter lead times to Europe, days instead of weeks, duty-free access to the EU under the Customs Union, easier communication in European time zones, and lower minimums. For brands running fast fashion cycles or frequent reorders, Turkish sourcing typically reduces total landed cost and inventory risk.

Woven labels are made by weaving colored yarns into the design, giving a premium, durable finish that won't fade with washing. Printed labels are ink-printed on satin or polyester tape, cheaper and better for detailed care instructions, but less durable. Premium apparel brands typically use woven labels for branding and printed labels for care information.

Yes. We offer woven labels made from recycled polyester with GRS-certified yarns, organic cotton labels, and hang tags from FSC®-certified or recycled paper stock. Yes, we provide a physical pre-production sample for approval before every bulk order. Digital mockups are shared within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your artwork, and physical samples ship within 3 to 5 working days.

Pricing depends on size, weave density, quantity, and finish such as cut and fold, laser cut, or ultrasonic cut, so we quote each project individually. Send us your design and quantity and you'll receive a quotation the same day.

We work best with vector files in AI, EPS, or PDF format, but our design team can redraw logos from high-resolution PNG or JPG files at no extra cost. We also adapt existing tech packs and BOM specifications from your production team.

We produce labels in virtually any size from 10mm width upward, with finishes including end fold, center fold, mitre fold, straight cut, laser cut, and ultrasonic cut. Damask, taffeta, and satin weave qualities are all available depending on the level of detail your design requires.

Yes, we match yarn colors to Pantone TPX and TCX references as closely as the weaving process allows. For critical brand colors, we send physical yarn cards or woven samples for approval before production.

Yes, we print care labels with wash symbols, fiber composition, and origin details compliant with EU Regulation 1007/2011 and UK labeling requirements. We can also include multi-language content and your brand's specific compliance data.

Etiteks exports to over 30 countries, with core markets in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Scandinavia. We ship worldwide via DHL, UPS, and FedEx, with DAP or EXW terms depending on your preference.

Yes. With in-house weaving, printing, and cutting capacity in Istanbul, we run recurring label programs for brands with seasonal collections, holding artwork and color standards on file so reorders go straight into production without new sampling.
